Same here. I got pulled into BR about a year ago. I used to think I was getting deals with their 40% off coupons. Now I regret spending so much money on mediocre at best items. If I can do it again, I would rather have 1 or 2 nice pieces instead of all the BR stuff I bought.

The only things I will continue to buy from there (when on deep discount) are socks and scarves.

And good luck on getting advices from the sales team. Those guys don't know crap about style.

I tried on a leather jacket from BR and the quality felt horrible. If I was you, I'd just keep saving up.

Fit advice I've always heard is to keep sizing down, and then buy the smallest one that you can zip up. If it's a little snug, the leather will stretch - it is a skin, after all.

This would be just for leathers right?
And yep small is the smallest that fits just right and zips up just correctly! So thats my size then!

So today I got myself a $100 Banana Republic gift card for $70 from someone on CL. So now the leather jacket is going to be $200 including tax (from $350 + tax). So I have asked them to hold the jacket for me since my 40% off only works on the 25th! So the jacket has been pre bought. No going back now!
