Plan to buy this leather jacket.... Advice?

Hey guys!
I recently decided that I wanted a nice leather jacket. I don't have such a great budget and I dont want faux leather. I found this jacket and it had great reviews. The leather was supposed to be of a really good quality, and the finish is supposed to be pretty good too. My main question is, are bomber jackets in style? I would be wearing this casually in the evenings. It gets pretty cold in San Francisco, and my regular jacket isnt enough sometimes. I would generally be wearing this with blue jeans.

I don't really understand why you want that particular leather jacket. It looks quite ugly and fake.

Looks ok, but I think brown is the way to go in a bomber. Have you looked into ToJ?

No the jacket is authentic leather. I dont know what it looks fake, but I can't really see it. The specs say "Soft lamb touch supple nappa leather". There are like 90 or so reviews on it and none of them have complained of fake leather. So I'm almost positive that its not faux.
My budget is only about 100-150 and this fits right in there. Anyone know of anything else for that price range? And I chose a bomber because I wear boots like Catepillar (the chunky looking ones) and this looks like it might go well with that general look.
Thoughts?

Must be pretty bad at that price. Why not look into thrifting or e-baying a nice used one?

Everyone has said that they expected it to be really crappy at the price but a LOT of people have said that they could not tell the difference between the quality on this and other really expensive ones that they have bought. So at this time I'm just going to take a gamble on the quality and if it really sucks, I'm going to return it. And they do have an option of brown on there, but from the pictures I can hardly tell the difference. Plus I was going to buy black shoes so I figured a black jacket would go well!

Yeah I like that too but the model makes it look a bit stuffy and weird... Do you think that looks better than the one I posted?

Most people don't know much about clothes, don't trust reviewers. The jacket probably is real leather, it's probably just bad leather.

Don't buy a leather jacket in that price range. Leather is one of those things that really really deserves your money, quality of the leather and design will increase drastically as you go up in price range. If you only have 150, buy something from Spiewak or Carhartt.

It probably is, but it has the flatness, consistency, sheen, etc of faux. May as well be faux the excessive treatment and what looks like plastic coating.
