Searched around and got some similar topics but all stopped after a page Going there next Saturday, have to scope out some things to do. So far possible considerations are: Statue of Liberty, Double Decker bus Times Square at dusk (this one was suggested) MoMa and various other modern museums. Ferry ride of SI. Central Park To me those are pretty meh. Any other suggestions. This is during the day and we have places to eat covered. Thanks!

Broadway play sounds nice. Checking ticket prices for Wicked, it runs 160ish per person =( Any good sites?

Nevermind, found out ticketmaster had the best prices actually. Center Orchestra or front Mezzazine?

I'd go with the mezzanine. You'll probably have a better view and, possibly, sound.

Brooklyn Bridge and get grimaldi's pizza, go early or late, otherwise a long line will be waiting for you, and brooklyn ice cream company.

South Street Seaport TKTS location opens before the Times Square one and usually has better options.

Top of the Rock is considered better than empire state building as it's less expensive and usually much faster to get up top.

Eleven Madison Park for lunch or dinner is highly recommended, Shake Shack is 2 minutes away if burgers and shakes are preferred (get ready for a LONG line).

C21 for shopping (not really a date thing unless you both love designer clothes) again go early or late as it's a ZOO on the weekends.

Also, is that kimchi chiggae in your avatar?

Central Park in the evening is just excellent. May not be the safest, but the feeling you get is just indescribable. Maybe its just me.

Grimaldis is SOOOO overrated....Walk a few more blocks and gor to Sam's Steak/Italian on Court. Their brick oven BLOWS Grimaldi's away!

If that's where I think it is, it's pretty far from the brooklyn bridge...Definitely more than "a few more blocks"...

+1 The service is shitty, when you go in it looks like a school cafeteria but with wooden benches. Lombardis is better if your looking for authentic pizza AND good service.

IF your going over the Bklyn Bridge, you should consider Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory and the Brooklyn Promenade as well. There both very close.

Other suggestions:

MoMa
Flor De Sol
Ride on the Staten Island Ferry

high line park

dizzy's club - jazz at the lincoln center. after hours events the cover is really cheap, esp if you're a student, it's like 5 or 10 bucks. best cityscape and jazz venue in the city.
