Wow, yet another movie championing the infantile American 20-something. The comics were terrible and this looks just as bad. Also, how has Michael Cera's voice not dropped yet?

Was fantastic. I probably didn't get half of the video game jokes, but I still loved it. It's just...fun. Great editing. I Edgar Wright. Oh and the chicks were all hot.

He's Canadian. What exactly are your expectations here?

I might be a nerd but I'm still not a fan of hugely-referential circle jerks. I'm glad they made a movie specifically for you Jian but not everyone grew up listening to shitty three pieces from Portland and playing Super Mario while their girlfriend shopped for cardigans. When they make a movie about listening to The Birthday Party and doing card tricks I will also be in line at midnight.

FWIW, I don't like "indie" music and I never played Nintendo. I still liked it. (And I would love a movie about TBP and card tricks. Someone needs to get on that.)

A Nerdster perhaps?

a) yes, most people would probably classify me as a hipster. and a nerd. b) it still looks like a dumb movie. I can, however, see how it would be a big deal for kids a couple years older than me who existed in a certain sub culture.
