I got the KB playboy today and Ii am sick and tired of "nude" pictorials that doesn't show everything.

You see more of her nude in that stupid movie with Billy Zane.

I was thinking about that this morning: how does Playboy compete and stay relevant in a world flooded with porn? Even the magazine ads these days are racier than the dirty magazines of my callow youth.

They stay relevant because people read them for the articles and quality journalism, of course. Isn't that why we've always bought them?

Its seriously gotta be afloat for the articles. Well, my friends sister was in an issue. I have a "digital" copy of that one. I couldn't get ahold of a hard-copy.

I caught something the other day about the biography of Playboy on CNBC or something. All I was thinking is, "Porn is a dead industry." Why pay for playboy when there are dozens of free sites out there? Even more so, why pay for snapshots of porn when full motion video is just a click away.

The commoditisation of porn due to the internet has indeed been rapid.

I think most of the starlets use the films as a way of getting their escorting/lapdancing hourly rate higher.
