This recipe is not approved by your cardiologist. In fact, you may hear your arteries cry just looking at the pictures below. But if this is something you want to try for yourself, the whole write ups, including detailed instructions on how to make that bacon weave with pictures of every step of the way can be found here.

Looking at it makes me feel like I'm in Iowa or Ohio where they make no apologies for delicious, hearty and fatting food.

Outside looks great. Well done. Inside looks like baby poop.

When you order rare prime rib, do you complain that it's too pink? What did you expect it to look like? Well done ground beef pretty much looks the same...

First thing you've posted that didn't make me salivate. Probably tastes good though.

It isn't the doneness that is problematic, it is the vaguely fecal green splotches running through.

So don't add the peppers and basil...

Green and fecal? Seriously? What the hell do you eat that turns your shit green? Like Aaron said, skip the greens and move on.

dude, it's just food and it's just the intertubez, you are getting a bit too crazy about it. It probably tastes great and as he said, the outside looks good but the inside, with that green/yellow stuff oozing through it, does not look appetizing. Keep in mind that a part of food preparation is the presentation, obviously on some foods you can't "put lipstick on the pig" but maybe listen to some of the constructive criticism.

Not at all upset here. Just don't get the green/fecal analogy. I guess I'm the only one that doesn't see that as a valid analogy. I also don't get the uproar over someone saying, "I don't like the green stuff" and myself and another poster saying, "well, leave that out." Nobody is say, "STFU and eat the green stuff." If someone doesn't like green food matter because it reminds them of the last deuce they dropped, no big deal. It's not rocket science. You see a recipe with an ingredient you don't like, omit, substitute, or skip the recipe all together.
