10:15 west coast start + 18 innings = the game ending about 10 minutes before I go to work in the morning.

Another extra inning win! The madness continues.

So I think it will be Davey Johnson and Buck who win the Manager of the Year award, kind of funny because the last time Johnson won it he was fired on the same day they announced he'd won.

The hunt for orange October! I just got tix for game 2 of the Division Series. I had tickets for the Wild Card game in my basket but tried to get different ones and they were all sold out in 6 minutes.

...and so the collapse begins.

too early to call it. Still in the driver's seat for the WC, and still just 1.5 back for the division. They do seem like they're pressing a bit hard right now though. Both of these last two losses, they've loaded the sacks several times and come up empty.

EVEN STILL

if they collapse this has still been a hell of a season, far exceeding any realistic expectations, and I'll take it.

Scared for next year, though.

I don't like seeing Steve Tollison in there. Would much rather see L.J. Hoes to be honest. I think Chen's arm is done, fried. If we could just get one more hot streak out of Reynolds or Davis I'd be happy.

If they lose out, it will still have been a great season. I still think we make the playoffs. I'll be out there tonight. Over 30,000 in attendance yesterday, which was nice to see, but they should be sold out.

confused.gif If they lose out it would be a disaster. I fully expect this team to make the damn playoffs!!

Randy Wolf out. Bill Hall in at second base. I guess Buck got tired of waiting for either Robert or Omar to claim the job. I'd do a straight up trade to the Nationals. Dylan Bundy for Steve Lombardozzi.
