The "Where to see/kop in NYC" thread

Thread Starter
There a lot of shit I wanna get for the fall, but w/my terrible experiences w/online purchases I'm weary. I know there are people in NYC here, so this is a thread to see where to get + see stuff, as well as maybe a jumping point for proxies? I'll start it off... I'm curious about Android Hommes, in particular the "BP x Propulsion" collab they did. I'm not quite ready to push the button, but since they're prob available somewhere in NYC I'd be down to take a trip to see em + see how they fit. Anyone know where I can find em?

Was your shoe caught in the BP oil spill?

Interested in this as well. Going for a week in September, want to make the most of it. Already planning to take a look in the Uniqlo store to stock up on some basics, maybe try to find some APC jeans too, but other suggestions are more than welcome.

Atrium on the corner of broadway and bleecker should carry android hommes.

Also want to give a friendly reminder that NYC's luxury tax (something like 9% on single clothing items over $110) can really buttfuck you

Seattle is 9.5% or so as well. bitter. but we have no state income tax. dc income tax raped me when I was there : / taxes are everywhere except Portland has no sales tax tho, sup Stumptown. in NYC go to MMM in the village and Bottega just to fondle leather. So many places though.

New York has so much. Selfedge, Blue on Green, Odin, the APC store in Brooklyn, Freemans, Epaulet, Smith and Butler. It's really easy to go broke here.
