I was at the drugstore buying a toothbrush and started wondering if a $7 toothbrush really made much more of a difference over a $1 one. Do I really need a brush that has all sorts of different patterns and bristle heights and things sticking up to supposedly help clean my teeth? I'm not convinced that they perform any better, yet I only buy a toothbrush 2-3 times a year so it seems like something worth not cheaping out on.
I ended up buying a $4 Colgate 360, was intrigued by the tongue/cheek scrubber on the back of the brush.
