It's been on sale at least once this year for 20-30% off. I got mine last Dec and I think it was 40% off.

oboy, thanks a lot. Sounds like it's well worth it to wait for a sale. Do you or anyone else happen to know when the best time for a sale is? I waited for the december sale like the one in 2011 but it wasn't a sale item this year. Any other times to look towards?

Like is said: hard to understand their sale timing, or what's included. Often Filson is excluded but there have been a couple times this year when they weren't. Can't recall when, exactly now tho...

Took a leap on the Filson x Levi 505. Real nice for <$100 pants. Beats the fuck out of the shitty WH corded cloth pants. Bonus is that it's filson, they are guaranteed for life.....whatever that means for clothing.

I dig those 505s too. The garauntee is that if they rip or fail ( aside from you know falling out of a car of something) they will repair of replace for free, forever. I've witnessed this w/ my own and other's garments. Pretty rad.

Alright, like an idiot I waited to buy the trucker jacket in tan (size large). Levis just had them on sale for 100 bucks. However, now I cant find one anywhere. Does anyone know where I could find one? Any help would be awesome. Thanks.

Also, I'm 5'9 and about 170. I should be getting a large, right?

Get it direct from Filson. Not $100 (don't know where the fuck you found THAT price), but at least you can get it.

Sounds like a medium to me.

Rambo, levis had it for 113.xx (xxl only) Unfortuanltely, Filson is out of large. How confident are you that medium would be a good fit?

Just got and loving the tan version.

For reference: I'm 5'9" 165lbs and I'm wearing a medium. Perfect fit to wear with just a T, or with a button up, and even a thinn sweater over.

like all waxed items, you will sweat in it if it gets too warm

Thanks for the fit pictures. Is it super tight if buttoned up?

Maybe a bit in the chest with a thick layer. I also have only at max buttoned the 3 center ones.
