Thanks much

So is it worth the drive from Seattle to Burlington to hit the outlet?

I say yes, but do call in advance if you're interested in a particular item since their inventory does move.

Sounds about right.

does anyone have measurements for the small and xs? thinking about grabbing one of these.
I had a medium that was taken from my car. A few weeks later, I went back to the outlet and got a small that fit me better. The measurements for my jackets are/were:

size: S, M
chest: 19.5, 21
shoulders: 16.5, 17.5
sleeves: 25, 25.25
back: 24.5, 25
bottom: 17.5, 18.5

The small fits comfortably over a tee- and flannel shirt ... I'm 5'7", 155 lbs and wear size 30 jeans.

I heard the new jackets (2012) fit differently.  If anyone has one and is willing to offer an opinion, will i be ok with a small?  I'm like 5'10, 130lb's, chest is 33/34ish.  Thanks

I'm a 42/42 chest and ordered an XL a week ago and just returned it for a Large. Haven't received the Large yet, but the XL was definitely too big

Old XL was definitely more suited to a 42 chest.

has anyone given their Filson trucker (tan) a wash to make it look more distresed, less waxy, etc, andmake it more breathable???

how does it look? pics would be helpful as would any experience with shrinkage

if nobody has, I'll try it with mine and report back, but I can't believe nobody hasn't tried it yet

I washed my Belstaff Roadmaster (3 times in hot water, air dryed) and it looks fantastic now and breathes a lot better. The wax is still there, but just not as thick and rigid...fyi. It did shrink a little (only slightly), so beware and try it on between washings to make sure it doesn't shrink too much. Air drying afterwards as opposed to using a clothes dryer is the way to go.

I've got to believe this jacket would look a lot better with this treatment and make it easier to wear if it breathes better

Question to you all: Does the trucker Filson ever go on sale? Was hoping it would during the last filson sale but it wasn't one of the items that was included.
It does. Not sure the logic behind their sales but its been on sale before.

Pouring salt on the wound...lol. Seems like the last sale, looking at this thread was 1 year ago. Grrr, Next sale they have on it, even if it's a small percent, I'm giving it a go!
