1) What's the difference between

and what's more appropriate for formal business meetings?

2) Plain navy suit VS striped navy. I'm looking to project confident, open and no-bullshit image. Stripes or plain? My personal preference is plain, but I see a lot (maybe 95% of all people I see daily) of people choose stripes. I think they might be thinking of plain as inferior and submissive (or whatever...). I want my suit to help my image, I don't care too much about fashion.

3) Black AE PARK AVENUE with navy plain/striped suit - good idea?

1) 2 has a higher buttoning point than 1. 1 looks like a three-button suit with the top two buttons fastened. It's not exactly a question of formality. Generally, a flattering suit buttons at or near the natural waist.

2)Striped suits have a historical association with business. That said, solid navy is fine. It's beyond fine. No one will care.

3)Park Avenues would be ideal.
