Seriously.

WTF would want a trend that allows women to brazenly show off their ass and occasionally, camel toe, to end?

As long as the girl is attractive or using it to show off her assets, I have no problem with leggings.

+1. The problem is not leggings; the problem is that usually the wrong women wear them. Edit: And I find nothing at all wrong with the style tomgirl mentioned, leggings under a short dress. On the right woman, it's super hot!

+2. It all depends on the girl and her "assets".

It's an inherent problem with the fabric mostly, I think. I can see the practical use, but it's best just to avoid clothing that necessitates their use since most of it is made from ugly synthetic fabrics as well.

Leggings worn like the pictures in this thread are the female equivalent to a man walking around with a tank top. It's cheap, boring, and any aesthetic qualities are likely measured by tumescence more than anything else.

They beat sweatpants, which, after having been a common attire on planes for while, are now making their way into the local grocery stores.

+1 Alot of girls I see wearing leggings regularly are not too fashion forward and rarely have nice shapes. NOT always but most of the time.

Yeah pretty much all the 18 - 20 year old girls in the UK are wearing leggings right now.

I almost crashed my car driving past the local university.
