Made for decades in a fine factory two and a half hours from my home until Cannondale closed the doors last year and incredibly skilled labor out on the street in favor of Taiwan.

I have nothing against Taiwanese production, and from '98 or so up to 2009 I believed Cannondale made the best aluminum frames on the market, but they've completely lost their cachet.

If you're looking for hot paint jobs, you could do a lot worse than Snarl over at Vicious. Buy what fits -- then send the frame to him.

How is a 2010 CAAD9 different than the 2009?
I thought the 2010s were the last of the ones made in USA.

head over to bike forums for a question like this. looks are so secondary to proper fit if you really plan on racing.
