+1. I was eyeing a gray with orange stripes fabric and it's not there anymore.

To add another recent experience to the shipping discussion: I recently got my first shirt. I ordered 10/12, it shipped 10/19 and it arrived about 10/28.... The timetable, which was not expedited, seemed very reasonable and the shirt looked great.

Yeah, I'm pretty disappointed, they had a nice blue suit that I was looking at...it wasn't quite a navy, but a slightly lighter shade, and it looked like a nice fabric. Although it's pretty tough to tell how nice the fabric is by their pics online. If I really wanted to order a suit from them, I wonder if they would be able to ship you a small swatch. I'd be willing to pay a couple bucks for this, I don't think I'd be able to buy a new suit without actually seeing the fabric in person first.

Question about the shirt gallery on MT. Are the colours in the photos more saturated than they actually are? I've been trying to look for some pale pink, purple or yellow solid or stripe fabrics, but from the shirt pictures they all look so bright.

I think this would resolve most of the complaints.

I reported the issue with the website to you in August, but nothing seems to be improving.

It would be hard to respond to this because we too express our issues with our logistics provider to provide a website that works for customers. This is outside our control. However, we can control our own policies. SXY partner guarantees delivery within 3 to 5 business days (assuming the order was placed on a business day as well). We can commit to this setup and offer 10% discount voucher to customers who do not receive their packages within 3 to 5 business days from the date of shipment.

Hi There John:

Please let us know the order # you'd like to us to have a look at. Our reps are very reasonable and we commit to all our policies if fit is an issue, we have 19.95 trial shirt promo to allow customers to experiment on the fit. We are subsidizing this program to allow customers less risk in ordering MTM online especially if they have no experience in taking their own measurements. This way, on their next order, they can have a better fit.

regards,
E

Are your suits & shirts cut from a roll or do you tailor pre-existing shirts to customers request?

For my test shirt, the body measurements I specified were: 40" chest 37.25" waist 41.5" hips The shirt's actual seam-to-seam measurements were: 21" chest 20" waist 21.5" hips Is that how it's supposed to be? I guess they're adding 2" to everything. Is that what you'd want in a slim fit shirt?

Ordered the $19.95 shirt to test out moderntailor. Will post pictures and impressions when the shirt arrives.

That sounds about right, although I'd take the waist in some more if you truly want a slim fit.

Anyone with a $10 voucher they're not using kind enough to share with me?

does anyone know what the quality of the suit fabric is at MT? I'm trying to get an idea if the 2 for 1 suit offer is a good idea. I'm concerned about fabric quality. thanks
