This is gonna sound like a rant but sh*t like this really gets to me. Just got an email from Modern Tailor saying my order had shipped. I upgraded the shipping to expidited and on the website they say they use FedEx or DHL for expidited orders. But in the email it says it's being sent by SXY Express???? Lmao sexy express WTF is that ???? Did a google search on it - all that comes up is vaguely porn related things; typed in the website they gave for tracking (http://www.sxyexpress.cn/) - apparently it doesn't even exist. Why do they claim to use FedEx and DHL if they end up using some random ass Chinese outfit???????? I hate having things shipped through these dodgy Asian companies (EMS, TNT, etc) and now these people have managed to find yet another one. The only reason why I put through an order with them was because apparently they offered good shipping but honestly if it ain't here in a couple days I'm just gonna chargeback their asses and they can get for all I care I was already getting irritated by their dodgy customer service.

I ordered on Sun with expedite production and shipment, what about you? All regular or expedited?

That doesn't sound too unreasonable to me. I placed an order on for multiple items on 10/14, received the ship notification on 10/29, and I'm still waiting on delivery at this point. This order has taken a good deal longer than previous orders, but it's hardly unreasonable. Perhaps they are going through some growing pains as a company. These things happen. Their customer support has been excellent for me, so if you have any concerns you should email their support team.

AFAIK that works only if the destination is the US.
The SXY website has never worked for me, and I have complained about this to MT but apparently they don't care much. The good thing is that I've always received my shirts within 3 days of the shipping notification. It is faster than EMS.

Yeah that site doesn't work for me being in lil ole New Zealand I was really hoping it would come by FedEx I've always had the best experiences with them. If I'm having something FedEx'ed I don't even bother physically checking the mail because the tracking seems to update before I realise anything's arrived.

Just got my test shirt from MT: ordered 10/16, shipped 10/27, arrived today, 11/9. So 8 business days to produce, 9 business days to ship.
Overall I'm very satisfied with the results. The stitching is a little sketchy in some areas if you look really close, but considering it was only a $20 shirt, not bad. I think all of my measurements were on; the shirt is a little tight in the shoulders and chest, but that's actually what I was going for, and I don't find it constrictive. I prefer a snug fit.
The only thing I was disappointed with was that the shirt still puffs out in the back. I was hoping to eliminate that by slimming down my best-fitting shirt measurements, but I think it has more to do with the curvature of my back, and less to do with the actual shirt (I've got a pretty muscular back).
So all and all I'm happy and will definitely be ordering more shirts.

How about actually asking SXY to fix the website?
I think this would resolve most of the complaints.

I reported the issue with the website to you in August, but nothing seems to be improving.

Is there a possibility that ModernTailor gives us the correct website to track the shipment? I just entered the tracking number shown on their website (SKY In Transit) but nothing comes up on the HKDexpress nor on DHL website.

I noticed you have responded today to a couple of members who have posted on this thread. I have e-mailed to MT my concern about the shirt I received being too tight and needing to be remade, and have sent PMs to you about it, as well. Please respond as soon as possible. Thank you.

My last order shipped on Nov 1st....still waiting for it to arrive. I didn't pay for expedited shipping, so this timing is probably normal. I'm just really impatient and I hope my shirts arrive today or at least sometime before the week is over!

Also, has anyone heard any more news about MT's supposed 2-for-1 suit sale? I haven't seen this advertised yet and I still haven't seen any suit fabrics added back to their site. There used to be over 80, and prices ranged from $299-$549, now there's only about 40 and nothing is priced higher than $349.
