Will fabric Q22 be restocked?

I just ordered a suit and some shirts. I live in the US and it will be shipped through USPS. The total was over $400. Will I get charges a customs fee?

I definitely will bubba. Have you ordered from MT before?[

Has anyone tried ordering casual shirts from MT (e.g., shirts you would wear untucked)?

I plan on using my dress shirt measurements, but I will reduce the length 2-3 inches, choose a more casual collar, cuffs, and fabric, as well as choosing the softer collar & cuff lining. Any other suggestions?

Yes, many times -- I own over 30 shirts from them, but no trousers or coats.

Ok, so then maybe you can answer a question. I ordered a week ago and on my account it still says process order. Is this normal? Also, under the column that says "pay" there isn't a checkmark or anything; it's just blank. I definitely paid though. Any insight?

Awaiting Payment = You haven't paid.

Process Order = Payment received, items are being processed (constructed).

You're fine. I ordered a navy suit from Modern Tailor and was actually pleased with it. It's not perfect but I thought it was great for the price point.

Thanks for the advice. This will actually be my first suit, so I'm kind of nervous because I sent in body measurements.

All those things are normal. Just sit back and relax and your order will show up 3-4 weeks from now. I used to obsess over tracking, and how long it take to get here. I've let go now, because the shipping carriers they use all vary in how long it take them to process shipments, so delivery will vary. I even had one instance where one package didn't arrive for over 6 weeks. Eventually it too arrived fine.

Hmmm, I'd be more worried about this than with production time or delivery of my package... When you send in body measurements, they make assumptions as to the fit in different areas (yes, yes, I know you can select the fit, but that's way too generic, but then again I may be pickier than others about how I like my suits/shirts to fit). I would have sent measurements for a well fitting suit or shirt, tweaking whatever measurements I'd like changed so I can be in control of the dimensions of the garment in key areas that I'm particularly picky about, but it's too late to dwell now. Just assess what you get once you can try it on and go from there.

Yea the thing is I'm not going to be really picky about it since it's my first suit. I figured it couldn't be worse than something OTR. As long as it looks decent. I just need it for a couple of interviews.

Is this a known fact to you? If not, perhaps you should consider standardizing your shipments with ALDex for a more consistent customer experience.

Currently I have an order shipped via XTX on December 12 that has yet to arrive, while subsequent orders placed after that date that shipped via ALDex have already arrived. I have already contacted sales@moderntailor.com for help with an update to that particular order.

Bubba,

When did your order eventually arrive? This is my second time ordering from MT, which I did on April 24. Got ship notification April 28. Shipped via XTX so no way to track, but I'm hoping one of the shirts will arrive in time for a party this Saturday. Getting down to the wire...

To be fair, I ordered in January also, and from order to delivery it took just under three weeks. That was also via XTX.
