It's a cool site. It's too much of a headache trying to find an off the rack a dress shirt that fits me when tucked in. M2M seems to be the easiest route. Got my trial shirt in the mail, the fit is a little snug but after measuring with an actual measuring tape, the fault is definitely mine. Added an inch to the waist and chest and just ordered another two shirts.
Anyone get that wild rose pattern? I just did; doesn't seem like anything you guys would be into, but I dig it.
Just received my first order from ModernTailor, the $20 trial shirt. Used measurements from my best fitting shirt. Didn't realize I clicked "normal" fit instead of "slim" until looking at the order now. So far I think it's not too bad for the first try. The sleeves could be quite a bit narrower throughout, but the body fits pretty well despite my mistake of choosing normal fit instead of slim. I think I'm going to go with the small collar next time in addition to modifying the sleeve measurements. Thoughts?

Others will chime in, but I believe if you enter your own SHIRT measurements, the "normal" or "slim" becomes irrelevant. It's only when you enter your BODY measurement that those options matter. When entering shirt measurements they will follow them exactly no matter what "fit" you choose.
I see. I guess I'll disregard that detail. Thank you for your response. Would it be a waste if I had a tailor slim the sleeves? I could always use another white shirt. How much could I expect to pay for the alteration?
The sleeves look too long on this shirt to me - you might want to consider adjusting that before messing with the width. Also - ModernTailor - take a note - you should hide/gray-out the normal/slim/etc settings when a user has entered other details. I agree that it is very confusing. I still am paranoid and enter "slim" just in case.
ModernTailor / Emma - Could you please comment on these questions on your affiliate / referral program? Q1. In the past, there was an affiliate program link on your web site. This has since disappeared since your redesign. I can only find entrance to this section of your site through a google search. Q2. I am confused on your different payout terms. When I refer someone to you from my regular account login, I am paid $20. However, on the more "official" affiliate site, I have referred 15 people. Of those, 3 people have made 7 total orders. From this, I was given a "rebate" of 15% per order, totally only around $43. In short, do we basically have a choice of a 1 time $20 referral fee or a 15% recurring fee? Is the old affiliate program deprecated? Is there even a way to claim those rebates? (I don't see an option on the screen) This is the URL I am referencing: http://www.moderntailor.com/pub/ref.do?action=login Please PM me. Thanks!

Try this: My Account--> Control panel-->Refer Tab I hope that is what you are trying to find. Edit: On second thought, I think this is NOT what you were looking for Feel free to ignore.
Would you guys care to recommend the good ones that you received? I don't mind getting one of those. Thanks! Edit: They stopped sending pictures of shirts. At least, I haven't receive any with my latest order and it's already been shipped.
Really stupid noob MT question; but here it goes: I just sent in a shirt for them to copy for my first MT shirt. Do they save the measurements of this shirt in my profile, or will they email them to me? I don't want these to get lost so I won't need to send in any more shirts. I am sure they save them, but can someone confirm?
