I just wanted to chime in. I made an order a little over a week ago. It shipped within 4-5 days and got her on Thursday so the turn around was under ten days, which I thought was very impressive. First impression, the fit is solid, especially given that it's online, and I have local tailors who can make minor tweaks. The fabric is great for 20 bucks and the collar nice. The fusing on the cuffs could be softer, which is my only real complaint. I might take the plunge and sample some other fabrics. Would love to see what feedback people had on the fabrics currently on sale.

I agree with your comment on the fusing of the cuffs. It also doesn't soften up through washes. But it was cheap.

I got my second shirt yesterday - a 2 ply pure cotton ($109 from memory). It's reasonable material.

I opted for the soft collar option which I'm pretty disappointed with to be honest. As the soft collar has no collar stay options I simply assumed it would be of the variety where it is sewn into the collar. Not the case. There are no collar stays at all. I can live with this though.

My main concern was that there were several spots of dirt on my shirt upon removing it from the packaging! They did wash off easily...but seriously, who is doing the quality control check before these shirts get sent out....

I still have sizing tweaks to make to my fit but I'm not sure I'll bother with MT anymore based on the risk that next time these dirt spots may not wash out!

Hello! I have already alerted the production manager regarding the dark spots, they are markers for cutting and measurement fabrics - markers we use are designed to wash off very easily. Let us know if there are issues or anything... we'll surely help.

Leah, I am just curious, the fabrics that say "2 ply", does that mean 2 x 2, or 2 x 1 ply?  (I was reading up on the subject somewhere recently. . .)

Thanks!

God dammit. I ordered a $150 shirt last week. Five days ago they email and say the fabric is out. They tell me to send them second choice fabrics so they can "begin production." They say nothing about the cost. I immediately reply and say I just want a refund. No response from them yet after five days. What kind of shitty service is that? Why would I just send them new fabric numbers without knowing whether they would credit me with the difference or charge me more?

Get your fucking shit together, MT.

I'm interested in a 1st time order for MT.  Are there any MT coupons that anyone knows of that I can use?

Thanks

What happened to the fabric sales? There were tons last night that noted they were on sale until the 29th and 30th and now there are zero results under sales? I was planning on ordering four...MT seems chaotic right now.

Hi Jaggs!!! Sorry about this! We'll be updating the fabric list soon! Please wait! I'll post again right away when this SALE link is back up!

Thanks for your patience! :-)

Hi Stephen! You have ordered a very expensive, imported fabric. I am very sorry for this issue and I have emailed you a resolution. It is quite hard to get the fabric if it's imported! However, I will get you some fabric options and we'll see what we can do there!

Hi zzdocxx,

Replying in behalf of Leah. The 2ply fabrics are 2ply (2x2) weft and warp.

Cheers,

Hey man, I'm pretty sure the front page of their site has the offer for first time clients. It's 2 types of materials that are deeply discounted for you to make your first trial shirt from.

@Leah: any chance of getting some proper solid white (or light blue) cotton fabrics in anytime soon? I know you have a sale now, but most of the <$100 materials are quite 'out there' (ie. strange colours, patterns etc.). In addition have you thinned down your thick MOP buttons recently? I've got a shirt with some nice thick 4mm MOPs and the recent ones I got are only 3mm.

Anyone got the striped white material shirt perhaps? I'm curious how shiny the thing is (for example k68 or v265)

Regards,
dsc.
