I only witnessed these issues on the 'Cut Away' collars as my 'Wide Spread' collars did not have any extra fabric under the collar.

I think it's just called extremely poor quality control, I've ordered a few shirts and they have been so variable in quality that I've given up, some the top button is off centre, others the arms are too high angle, plus the button selection is ghastly at best. I think they're generally a case of too good to be true, at least in my experience and opinion.

On this order, I removed such requests, expecting to once again get their default 2 pleats, and ordered a completely different shirt: Fabric, Color, Cuff style, Hem shape, Collar style, even the Measurement values were changed.

MT sent me a shirt with no sleeve pleats again! After over a WEEK of e-mailing, they have yet to admit they made a mistake! They tried to justify it saying that if they don't get any complaints or changes, they copy it over in their "CAD system". Well I did make changes, I changed almost every aspect of the shirt for my new order.

I would like a re-make of this shirt, so that I can actually wear it, bend my arms, and get a product that I paid for. Do you guys think this is reasonable?

Mmmm tricky one. My immediate reaction is that I can kind of feel sympathy both for you and for them.

I'd be inclined to bargain for a half-way position, something like money off your next shirt.

It seems like MT is slipping a little with keeping the shirt gallery updated. For a while they were doing a really nice job of photographing the shirts and had new additions every week or so. I find it hugely useful to see example finished shirts from the fabrics I'm interested in, so I hope they'll start adding more shirts to the gallery again.

I'm not as concerned about the shirt gallery as I am them not having a sample shirt picture available when you click on the close up pic of the fabric. They should really get on top of that.

Well yes, the two are the same presumably. If they add it to the gallery, it should show up there too. In fairness, they are a mile beyond the other online MTM in showing past actual shirts at all.

Totally reasonable, though if they asked for the shirt back to remake the sleeves, I would not deny them. Anecdotally, I provided a forearm measurement that turned out to be too slim, but I have no idea where that measurement got saved to my profile. Fearing that MT might re-use the bad measurement, I increased the half-bicep measurement and hoped for a proportionate increase in the forearm. Fortunately, the sleeve is wide enough without being too baggy. In fact, I am ecstatic over my new shirts and will post pics after laundering them. satisfied.gif

Same here. They failed to photograph my latest order; though, I found this acceptable given that I found examples in similar fabrics.

One of the big issue in taking the pictures of the shirt and putting it on the website is that we need to edit the picture of the shirt professionally so it can be presented properly on the website. Do you think it's acceptable if we require customers to login to the account before they can view unedited images of the shirts?

I think that's acceptable. Personally, I don't want anything (e.g. photography) to hold up shipment of my new shirts. A picture won't show me how well they fit, but it might get me excited. happy.gif

I think at the least attempt to take pictures of shirts that they don't already have samples of seems reasonable. It is difficult sometimes to get a feel for what the shirt will look like when we are examining the fabric with a closeup shot of a 4in x 4in section of fabric.

What's up with the Cotton/Polyester blends coming now?
Yes, I think that's fine. I think the point is that we just want to see how the fabric will look on a finished shirt, especially when it has stripes or checks. We know the quality is good, so don't worry about having unedited photos for your repeat customers who have accounts.
