As it is a blend, perhaps it won't shrink so much, but I would give yourself an inch next time.

Which collar is that? I like it!

Every couple of weeks a nice 2-ply 100s white fabric will go on sale - I just bought two. Just be patient.

It looks like the "wide spread" -- it's the only collar shape that looks good imho. The collar points are still too short by default as you can see from the way they're floating, I get mine lengthened by 0.5" and it looks a lot better.

Does it look like the two button widespread? Sits a little high (which I like)...

I have yet to get my shirts with this measurement adjustment, but suggestion to a lot of you.

Check your yoke depth compared to your back size. See where the shirt stretches with your arms forward. Mine stretched the yoke seam because it was too big. This meant if I had pleats (which I didn't on that shirt), they'd have been useless.

So, I think it's actually a very important measurement for members who are shorter or have small upper backs or high placed shoulder blades or something.

Just something to look into with your shirts. And upon trying on RTW shirts with different yoke sizes, I was amazed at how much it made a difference.

High Yoke = must better fit

Hello! this light blue fabric

In real life it is a tad bit lighter but basically what you see on the photo is very representative.

Gents,

It's the round (aka "club") collar.

Hi Emma, Is it possible to specify the size for collar stays? I have some metal ones that aren't the same size as the one that comes with your shirts?

Wouldn't that depend on the size of the collar?

Length, yes, but not width. MT stays are wider than most metal stays.

Ah, gotcha. I've noticed this as well actually. But still, I can't envision a scenario in which a thinner collar stay wouldn't stay put. It's not as though it would be in danger of falling out, you know what I mean?

Luckily I got it with darts and so I think letting the darts out will give me just enough extra room to breathe to the point where it will be wearable.

There is no reason to get darts on a custom made shirt.
