I keep ordering more and more even though issues have come up. I made the cuff smaller on my recent order I received, and it was slightly too small. But I assume that's my fault. However, it came with a ton of random thread stuck on it, some were different colors... and some loose threads that were still attached.

ive just received my first order of 3 shirts, which totalled to about $160, not bad in my opinion as i live in australia and we pay a premium on clothing. the quality of the fabric is excellent for the price point. im at work at the moment so i can't try it on, i opted for round collar and i can already see that it looks odd as the collar looks like a cutaway with round edges, the neck looks a bit big, but that is my fault as I think i put too much of an allowance as the shirt i measured had a very narrow neck (which doesn't fit me). The cuffs!!! they're very large, i might need to specify measurements for cuffs next time.

heres the pic, sorry about the quality, terrible pictures. these are actually 2 different shirts that are fairly similar. i'm generally happy with how it turned out. this is my first try, any suggestions on what i need to adjust?

p.s. the shirts are unwashed and straight out of the box

In need of Emma's input on how that's happening.

Well, I don't see random threads stuck on shirts as any problem at all. Just wash them (as you should) and if there are any thread ends just snip them off yourself. As long as those threads are just ones that haven't been cleaned up after the shirt's done it's all fine, because Turnbull & Asser they are not.

If those threads are the ones that can undo the stitching, then we have a problem there

I've had an order "In Process" since March 7. 3 weeks and still not shipped.

Just received my first shirt from Moderntailor.com.

It does not look bad. Cheap fabric, but at US$20 that was expected. Nice MoP buttons.

However, there are issues.

First of all, the sleeves are about 2 cm shorter than the measurements in my instructions.

Second, there's too much excess fabric on my back. Not sure how this happened.

Third, there's an effect at the side/back of both shoulders that I don't know how to describe:

And finally, I think the cuffs are too stiff.

Two other things I'm not too happy about are the collar and the armholes - both just a bit too tight. These are my own mistakes though, I'll just add an extra cm next time. (If there is going to be a next time.)

btw, I think they made the MOP buttons larger.

Will modern tailor make shirts with unlined collar and cuffs?

When measuring an existing shirt, do you go to the nearest 1/4 of an inch or 1/8 of an inch? Do you insert in fractions or decimals (e.g. 15.25 or 15 1/4)?

You can make it as specific as you want...I've had shirts done that were specific down to the nearest 1/8 of an inch. I always used decimals when submitting measurements too.

Hey guys, Can anyone post a picture of a really good fit on an athletic/muscular build? So far my MT shirt is already fitting MUCH better than any OTR shirt I have owned but it still feels a touch off and I am looking for a visual comparison.

I got my $20 shirt today, first try measured off some cheap Korean shirt, I think my ModernTailor product came out beautifully.

The lining/interfacing of the cuffs and collar do feel flimsy (I don't know why ppl say it's too stiff?), and I will be tweaking my measurements a little, but overall it was great.

Lots of you complained about poofy sleeves, but mine came out very slim:

I am 5'7" 125lb. 37chest 28waist for reference
