Update: the fit on my shirt is very acceptable. I'm a little bit concerned about shrinkage though, so I'm going to launder if the fit is still spot on, I think I'll be ordering a few more (or making some slight adjustments to my measurements.
Really impressed with the quality - I wasn't expecting much for $50 MTM, and I also went with the MOP thick buttons - which are nice, but a little tricky to get through the button holes because of the thickness.
Question for Emma. I tried to order a Testa shirt a couple of months back, and was told that the supplier is out of stock. Are there any plans to bring them back any time soon?
I have not had problems with the collar tips hovering in mid-air until the shirt I received today. It almost looks like a tuxedo shirt, or a bird in mid-flight.
The quality of the fabric is great though and so is the fit--but i will have to find a solution to this collar problem or else the shirt is completely unwearable.

So I just got my first test shirt and it's...ok. It could be worse, but I'm pretty sure it's unwearable. These pictures are obviously from before washing, but it didn't shrink much, and I'm not going to go through the ordeal of washing multiple times and ironing an unwearable shirt.
Showing sleeve length when I pull it down with my hand (before washing, the cuffs were too stiff to sit properly):
Critiques would be much appreciated. Here are my thoughts.
Obviously, the shoulder is too long. This worked on the shirt I measured, but the angle of the arms was completely different. It looks terrible here. I tend to like wider shoulders than many of the people here, so I'm not going super crazy slim. -3cm (18cm->15cm) on next shirt.
Yoke measures -2cm on current shirt, will reduce specification by -5cm to account for narrower shoulders.
The arms are angled too much. I'd like them to be closer to horizontal from the body of the shirt. Part of this is a function of the too-wide shoulders, but I think the arm hole needs to be smaller as well, to geometrically accommodate the angle I want and the bicep measurement. -4.5cm from half armhole (29.5cm->25cm).
Both cuffs, -1.5cm. They're a bit too big.
Arm length looks good to me, especially considering it will continue to shrink. +3cm to account for loss of shoulder length.
Chest good, will be proportionally slimmer with higher arm holes. Currently measures +3cm from specifications, but that may be partially due to very wide shoulder. Will keep the same and see how it comes out next time.
Waist is a bit too big, but it measures +2cm from what I specified. -2cm for next time.
Hip is good.
Length is good.
Collar is good.
Comments? Suggestions? Interestingly enough the shirt is spot on for shoulder, arm length, collar, and cuff, but cut ~2cm wide through the body.
Just got my MT shirt #2. Very quick delivery. Order was place last Monday and received it yesterday. Initial fit is good. I will reserve further judgment of the fit after it comes out of the wash and ironed, except shirt length which I am confused about.
I asked for a 27.5" shirt length and it came with 29" length. It was similar deal with my test shirt. I measured from bottom of collar to the bottom shirt edge. Does MT measure from bottom of collar down to just the hip (where the wedges on the sides of the shirt begin)?
I ordered the french cuffs in normal stiffness. It feels a bit thin and boardy. Is there an option for it to be a bit softer yet more substantial?

Have put my trial shirt through a couple of washes and its the normal lining of the cuffs/collar that is the biggest problem. The lining in the cuffs came sort of crushed and and the lines are pretty visable even after ironing. But the shirt is pretty good in evrey other aspect so if they get a lining material like you describe(soft/substantial) it would be perfect.

They messed up my sleeve like that too, except shorter. They did make me a new one so that was good. I just don't understand how they can mess up so much.
