Has anyone looked at the cotton/poly fabrics that they have on this week's sale? All of my dress shirts are 100% cotton. I have a hard time imaging that the cotton/poly fabrics can be that nice. They are also listing them at $109 but have them on sale for $89. I have several of their $130 fabrics which are really nice.

Other than less wrinkles, what is the point of the poly?

What are your thoughts on these fabrics? Thanks.

Here's the wide spread for anyone wondering: This is shirt number ~20 or so (pre-wash, post-iron).

Feels half-canvassed. Buttons are cheap (but whatever it'll be a fun project). All in all I'm really happy with it. Sending trousers to the tailor right now but I'll post pics next week if anyone's interested. Oh and the red silk lining looks killer

I think we're all interested in photos... !

just got my shirt yesterday, i ordered it less than 2 weeks ago, so that was a good delivery time.

standard blue gingam check $50 shirt, so i wasn't expecting high quality, more interested in the fit and what i could get for that price.

the shirt was nice, fit very well for a slim fit. i ordered the large and asked to open the neck to 17 as their house large was 16 i think.

with shipping it was total $60, and i would say the shirt represents fair value. it would match up against a Banana republic, Zara, H&M spot on , but cheaper than what youd pay at those stores.
the bonus being that I got a proper spread collar which you rarely if ever find at the retail stores mentioned.

they are coming to toronto this week so ill stop by and find out what they have in the $80-100 range as a single step up from what I got would be great for my standards, but not if i was a sartorialist!!

You spent $60 total on the shirt, and it matches up comparably to H&M and Zara? I think the most expensive dress shirt I've ever seen at H&M was maybe $40...they're usually only $20 or $30.

I think you're thinking of MyTailor. Not the same company.

First, he's in Canada, so retailers are going to be 20-30% more expensive by default, and second, a select few H&M stores have a slightly better menswear line, with shirts that I believe retail for $49 in the US, $59 in Canada.

Sucks to be in Canada I guess. Also, the H&M stores near me don't really seem to carry much high-end stuff, so you're right, it's definitely possible that they have some more expensive pieces that I don't see too often.

Yes, only two in Canada and about a dozen in the US have the full line.

yes, h&m is on the cheaper end of the scale, but a standard blue check shirt is about $40-50 last time i checked and had a bad small close-cropped collar you would never wear with a tie.

Banana republic's shirts are in the $60-70 range and like their suits i believe are wildly overpriced.

he big issue for me was the spread collar which was nearly impossible to find at these places. overall im satisfied, but not really thrilled, im curious to try the next 2 levels up pricewise to see what i get.

My first shirt just arrived. Order was placed on 3/6, Shipment was on 3/11, and recieved on 3/22. I'd say that's a very good turnaround.

Haven't tried it on yet, but the thick buttons look very sharp and I'm happy with the fabric.

Is there another way to track items sent via sxy express? Since sxy site still doesn't work, the sxy tracking number isn't very useful at all.

I just received my lastest mt shirt today and was very happy to see the new MOP buttons being used. They look very similar to the older Borrelli shirt buttons and appear to be higher quality than the older mt MOP butttons.

Almost looks like a cutaway rather than a spread.
