Looking forward to hearing when my latest order from you ships. It's my 6th from your company, and I'm happy for the most part with what I've received.

I just got a blue oxford shirt from Modern Tailor and am very pleased. The measurements are really spot on. The fabric is you get what you pay for. I got a cotton/polyester combo for $40 before discount. The build quality is good, there aren't any loose threads coming out of various seams. I do recommend the split yoke and thin MOP buttons for about $7 extra total. Ordered 8/9 received 8/16... amazing!

I ordered a shirt about a year ago and while it fit decently, a few measurements they just couldn't get right, even after 2 tries (their customer service was still awesome though). There were also many loose threads everywhere. But anyway I tried again because I found the $20off coupon. Everything seems to have improved since my experience last year-the build quality is higher, service is faster. Even the MOP buttons look nicer. I'm really happy this turned out nicely and I will definitely purchase again.

I have experience with proper cloth and they suck compared to modern tailor. If you want a shorter cut casual shirt with moderntailor, you get a proportionally shorter shirt. Meaning the button spacing will decrease so the 5-6 inches after the last bottom button will remain fairly long. This results in a shirt that doesn't look like it was originally long and just chopped off at the bottom before sending out (which is exactly what propercloth sent to me and I hated it).

They have $20 shirts to test fit which is a free shirt basically with $20 off.

I like their build quality too, but that shirt doesn't remotely fit you. Seriously, man, it looks like you're wearing a tent.

well, not everybody likes a slim fitting shirt. it looks like it might be good, but it would be helpful to see a few more pics, with your arms at your sides, to see sleeve length/shoulder measurements are okay.

How does that cotton/polyester combo fabric feel?

Wow, some of you guys are tough critics. I too have purchased many Modern Tailor shirts (15 to be exact and I have another 5 in the shopping cart right now.) It took me several tries to get the shirts just how I want them and MT was great to work with.

True, my shirts aren't skin tight like you skinny guys like, but they fit me well. They are comfortable without being blousy. I am very happy with my purchases and I could, if I wanted, buy much more expensive shirts. Rather, I chose to have a lot of nice shirts, not fantastic shirts (I have over 100 hanging in my closet and another 30 sitting on a shelf still in their packaging.) I wear the same shirt maybe 4 times a year, if that. I like having reasonable, well-fitting options, plaids, different cuffs, collars, etc., rather than a few ridiculously expensive shirts sewn with golden thread or whatever it is that makes them cost $250+. Just my 2 cents worth but what the hell do I know I'm just a fat ass that doesn't know how to dress.

OP, did you rush your order? I also placed an order for a shirt on 8/9 but it still shows "process order". How long does it normally take to get orders delivered to the States?

No I didn't rush. It says 10 days?

Great response. Some of the guys here wear shirts that are so tight they have to be unable to move. With that said its their choice. I think the shirt on OP looks fine.

I have an oxford striped shirt by Polo that cost me about $80. The modern tailor shirt feels slightly rougher than the Polo. The fabric doesn't look cheap though imo. For a shirt not even half the price though that fits me well, I can't complain.

Actually I think it fits me fine. It may look big but I have large arms a large chest and large hips. I purposely didn't get a tapered midsection.

I think overall fit is good but still the shoulder droops a little.
