This season looks to be promising in new ways. The feud with NYC seems resolved for now. That new business guy moving into the Commodore's mansion and "teaming up" with Gillian. Eli's eldest son showing interest in the business. That new agent that let the corrupt one die. Al Capone's brothers showing up (I spoilered them for myself by reading their Wiki articles - don't do it!) and Van Alden not even seen yet.

I wonder if Richard's story is over now?

Yeah, I thought some interesting threads were getting set up. I'm wondering about the blow back on husband getting killed and how often we're going to see her tittays. More Capones = more mindless violence I'm thinking.

I about spit my wine out when Gillian got herself high and lost her place in time with the, "An extra 10 if I have to put it in my mouth."

They always start some time in sept so i dont really think its so much because of BB.

Im excited for this season seems to be harlem/chicago focused with drugs rearing their ugly head.

My jackass coworker started talking about capones brothers too me and i only know their professions and dont want to know anymore

I was under the impression that she was just using the "sale" of the house as a cover to proposition wealthy men?

That was how I read it as well.

I wondered that but then when the new dood actually seemed to buy it I thought not. You could well be correct.

I was messing around with my computer while watching the episode. Who were all the people Richard was shooting? The girl Nucky kicked out was pretty hot. I'm intrigued by the agent that let the other agent get blown away. WTF is the guy from Office Space doing in a gritty show like this (just kidding).

He's trying to make up for the lack of Stephen Root.

Based on what I have read, they all have something to do with his family losing their house in Wisconsin. Sounds like they were all on the take and, well, he Richard Harrow'd them.

According to the show creator Richard was finishing where he left off last season. Then he went home to see if there is a life for him there. He really has no place to go.

Okay, so we've got a black supremacist now?

Ahh! Tell me what happened! I killed my cable for dish to save money but now have no HBO. I only watch this show on there anyways. I was hoping Amazon would sell it right away.
Is Richard killing people for his sister? Who is the jerk from Harlem?

Yeah, did not see that coming. Maybe a prerunner of Nation of Islam?

Also, did not expect Richard to lose his nerve like that.

Some commenters on another site seem to think he is a "Garveyite"

"Its also timely for the era of the 1920's because there were still strong elements of African identity vibrant in Harlem, Father Divine, the Moors, Marcus Garvey etc. These were getting away from using a color to name themselves and choosing to identify with African nations like Libya, Morocco and Ethiopia. Being illiterate, Chalky's knowledge of Africa could not have been much if any at all."
