I think to remind us that he is still out there when all other friends/associates have bailed on Nucky. Perhaps it'll be Black Army To The Rescue in the Gyp-War.

Either that, or they just had a spare shoe-shine joke laying around that they had to use up....

Not a bad episode, hopefully with the war starting that it'll pick up (even though there are only a 3 episodes left - next week looks good). I hope with war brewing, Nucky will hire Richard to start killing people, because his storyline is so damn boring right now.

Yea when Margarette isn't pushing her twat cleaning agenda she is ok. I would like to see Owen and her run off as well. Owen is under-utilized. I think he has killed one person in almost 2 seasons.

It appears Nucky can kill Gyp without getting into an all out war. Masseria said his problems are his own. I think Nucky will eventually kill Gyp but will not have to go to war with Masseria.

I really hope Margaret just up and leaves soon so they can go ahead and write her out of the show.

That's basically been every appearance since the first half of season 1. I feel like they had a bigger role for him at one point but went another direction, but they also knew he was a well loved actor playing a well loved character and aren't ready to toss him out just yet.

Fat chance. I think she'll try to leave with Owen, Nucky will find out, and Owen dies (either by Nucky's hand or someone elses),

Just watched Brave with my kid. I couldn't get Margarette image out of my head the whole time.

I hope Margaret runs away with Owen and we never hear from them again. It would be nice to see a show write characters off without killing them.

I'm pretty sure Nucky will end up having Gyp killed without going to war with Masseria, however Nucky is definitely going to end up doing something for Masseria in order to avoid sparking the war. Gyp has been alienating himself from Masseria, in part, and I wouldn't be surprised if something happened between Masseria and Gyp that makes Masseria remove his protection of Gyp. Or, hell, Gyp might end up dead for some reason totally unrelated to all this Nucky business.

The actor that plays Masseria is great. I fully expect him to become a major player. Maybe Nucky makes a deal with Masseria?

The preview for next week shows Richard and lots of guns. Wonder if Nucly reaches out

I really wish they will get rid of Margaret now. Every scene with her just slows the show to a complete crawl.

So was Gyp blaming the cousin for the missing bottles? Is that why he whacked him, literally?

The scene with her and the crate ( in case you haven't seen it) made me want to turn it off. I can't stand her.

She replaces Tara as my most hated TV character, although Walt Jr. Isn't far behind.

Walt Jr.? Over Skyler? Nah brah. Also, he prefers "Flynn".

No one will ever replace Tara. Its impossible to hate a character as much as I hate her.
