FYI, the majority of Americans oppose gay marriage, abortion and support Arizona's right to enforce the law. Good on them. But I guess this doesn't matter when you're striking poses on the internet, trying to look all hip and 'progressive'.

FYI your data is fucked. It's a convenient world when you don't need actual facts. Are you trying to look all conservative and 'backwards'? If so, good job sir.

I hate that, due to being a member here, I am associated with this asshole

The coal industry isn't particularly noble, are you going to boycott electricity too?

I didn't think so.

OK, I am going to post one and only one serious thing here.

Consumer boycotts rarely work - especially on a long-lasting item like this without obvious equal substitutes. If you really feel aggrieved that Red Wing are going to give $5 from your annual shoe purchase to some right wing hack and want to appease your conscience, then give an extra $10 to his political opposition. Tell Red Wing what you are doing and that it might be better for everyone if they just dropped their prices by $5 instead.

Saying you are going to boycott the company and getting all outraged on an internet style forum is a little immature, IMO.

I have seen them work. Had a really good one last year. This one will not work, though Red Wing may recant and apologize not for fear of losing sales so much as just not realizing what they were donating to and deciding that it would be better for brand image to re-direct that money elsewhere.

So it's ok to buy an election if it's in support of a candidate they support?
