Trying to Copy this Guy's Look (retro rocker)

Hey Everyone,

I'm a 21 year old guy and pretty green when it comes to buying clothes. I've been spending a lot of time bargain hunting at department stores and browsing eBay. I've been gravitating toward the swinging sixties, British Rocker look. That's the type of music I've always been into and I've always found the clothes from that period just as inspiring as the music. I'm really interested in copying this guy's look for an upcoming wedding in October and I'd be grateful if anybody could identify what exactly he's wearing. For those of you familiar with British Rock this is Noel Gallagher. The former lead guitarist, songwriter, and all around driving force of the band OASIS. He, like myself, has always tried to cultivate the swinging sixties look.

This is a photo of him walking out of BBC studios last year. I'm interested to know what the cut of his sports coat is. I'm partially colored blind but I'd describe the color as Beige. He's wearing a pair of brown chelsea/beatle boots which I already have a pair of. I'm not sure what model of sunglasses he's wearing. They almost want to look like aviators in size but the frames are square. The jeans have me stumped as well. I'm almost certain they're not bootcut but straight fit (Please feel free to correct me). The white shirt doesn't strike me as anything special but if anybody has thoughts about that speak up. So...if anybody has a good idea of what he's wearing and where I can find it would be much appreciated.
LL

I think the "look" is as much defined by the haircut and boots. The rest is just a relatively normal set of slim jeans (err on the tigher drainpipe side for true brit punk), a mediocre shirt and jacket.

You're definitely right about "look" part. I've got the hair and boots so the rest should be easy . I appreciate the advice on jeans. Drainpipe is a good description that never came to mind. Anybody have an idea on the model of sunglasses?

Pretty sure they are Ray Bans...you can kinda see the logo on the top left corner. More like a white dot.

Basically you just want one outfit like this?

Guy looks awful, don't know why you want to look like him. Buy suits from Thick as Thieves and slim-fit shirts, now you look like a mod.

Honestly its just refreshing to see someone who wants a "rock" look and doesn't immediately buy a dozen pairs of R&R jeans and Ed Hardy T-shirts and a plaid fedora.

Essentiallly, like I said I don't know much about clothes. I'm just curious to see what you all had to say. I definitely think those shades are Ray Ban's. I'll just go trolling through the different models and see if I find that pair. Any more thoughts?

haha! Personally I think he looks like a hard ass. I know quite a few people who do, each to their own I suppose. I'm not familiar with Thick as Thieves but I'll give it a look. Like I said I'm new to this whole thing but I'm willing to learn.
