boat shoes back in the day, I don't know how many boxes of band-aids I went through before I had fully developped callouses on my feet.

Clarks DBs (brown suede). Have not broken in because I don't think I can wear them for more than 5 minutes. The bottom of the tongue over the instep of the foot is very tight. I don't think it's normal. I'm thinking of making a visit to a Clarks store because something ain't right.

I almost threw mine away after one day. But after they're broken in, it's like not wearing anything at all.

for the docksides, soak them in a bucket of water completely submerged overnight.  next day drain off the water and put them on and wear them until they dry out - may be a long walk.  this will mold them to your feet.  i've had many pair - works great.
