I bought a herschel bag while out the other day. The quality was not all that good but for $80 I'm not surprised. The quality is not the best but it seems more of a "disposable" bag. Use it for a few years until it loses it's shape and then toss it to the back of your closet. The material is slightly thin and doesn't seem durable. I bought it because the Navel bag was a good size for me and it has a shoe slot on the size which is perfect for my use. For $80, I think it was worth a try.

Quality of backpacks isn't so great especially if you're actually planning to put heavier things inside.  I had the Settlement backpack in blue about a year ago and the strap broke off in a month of everyday use.  Of course if you're not in school and don't need to put a lot of heavier things inside this backpack will do fine.

If your looking for a quality stylish backpack I suggest the Makr Farm Rucksack. I just got it in the mail 10 minutes ago and it is orgasmic. The canvas is so thick, the leather is very high quality and it is very comfortable even with 3 textbooks and a laptop in it. I cannot express how pleased I am with it. (I got it on sale for $115) bounce2.gif
