These are rather nice backpacks methinks

Faux leather is a turnoff, the hat thing is , and the "zippo" would be nice if it wasn't terrible. EDIT: Am a fan of interesting designs at these prices, but the initial impression is not great.

I really would like the 'novel' if they had it in chocolate brown, or were able to make it out of leather.

plastic hardware on duffel bags turns me off.

Something about these backpacks just turns me off. Reminds me of the stuff you see at Urban Outfitters that's cashing in on all the recent trends (O'Hanlon Mills, Salt Valley, Koto, etc)

Some of the designs are kind of OK, but the quality, even with product photography looks like junk... probably the low quality materials showing the most.

+1

And the "studio" video is foolish. I clicked on it expecting to see bags being produced. Instead, it's a behind-the-scenes look at their fairly contrived photo shoot.

Jansport Heritage has it all over these guys.

yeah, obviously not up to SF standards but for these prices not bad i think, the faux leather pisses me off too.

They look pretty toy to me.

the faux leather is a no-no, the prices are nice though.

They look like JanSport packs of the 70's. Ok but not that interesting.
They're not bad, I question the quality but I do kinda like the design and price of the heritage and pop quiz models. I need a new backpack/messenger bag for school, anyone got suggestions? Been using the same swissgear pack throughout most of high school and college..

Was going to suggest Altadena works instead but it's not really in the same price range.

I would not mind the price, but they are all sold out and I couldn't find them anywhere. North face purple label might work too, but those are not available online either. Edit: I was also thinking Seil Marschal, similar design as Altadena, but rather pricey

You guys should get into the game. I'd love a travel duffle waterproof or leather at a competitive price.
