Looking for a Simple, Functional Shirt

post #1 of 13
Thread Starter
Hi all;

I am looking for shirts that fit the following specifications: Is long-sleeved,
snaps (instead of buttons or anything else), has two pockets (with flaps over
them that are secured with snaps as well), made from a light-weight material
(as I live in south Texas where it gets plenty hot indeed), and is inexpensive.

In the past, I've been getting shirts that fit these specifications from Walmart for
a very good price (like $12):

The only thing that I don't like about them is that they are plaid (classified as
"western shirts").

I would like to have shirts much like those, but in solid colors.

Does anyone have any suggestions for shirts from other sources that will work for me?

THANKS!!!

Even I think this question is stupid.

'Western Shirts' (plaid, solid or otherwise) are sold everywhere. Since you used Walmart as your price baseline, go try Old Navy. They usually sell them.

I don't recommend Old Navy - their shirts are EXTREMELY baggy and don't fit well at all.
