need a temporary routine

i've been running a modified 5x5, but i was in a car accident last week and my back has been brutally sore. visited a doctor and there's nothing permanent or serious, but i obviously can't do anything involving my back - no rows, no squats, no deadlifts. what can i swap out to still try to hit the other muscles these exercises hit (legs, shoulders, etc.). my school gym also has pretty much every machine sold, so if theres something i can do on a machine/isolation work, that'd be good too.

Try p90x and skip the squats

Pretty sure the majority of P90X will involve the back in some way.

Try swimming. With various flotation devices you can work specific muscle groups without straining others.

He's looking for weight lifting not cardio.

yea if I wanted cardio I could just run..

I am just looking for a few exercises that will hit shoulders/legs that won't strain my back. I can still bench, do seated shoulder presses, arm work (although dips were giving me some issues.. will try again in a few days).

According to me, Swimming is one of the best exercise. I am still swim 1 to two hours and also do some normal exercise. I feel healthy and I have also loosed 10lb in one months. So It is very strange for me. So I am feel very proud and also proof that Swimming is one of the best criteria for the lost weight as far.

yea probally the best option can't really work your legs effectivly like this, if you want just do isolations on your upper body but still if your uncareful might cause you alot more pain than its worth.

JUst take a bit off some ppl take a period off for recovery just use this as yours and come back and lift harder than before.
