Name that album and artist based on my crappy description of the cover art

Please gawds help me figure this out so it will stop bothering me.

Here are your clues:

1. It was a double album greatest hits I think. Lots of remixes.
2. Silver/gray with a big lion's head (viewed straight on)
3. I think (think) the name of the band is something something soundsystem. But I could be wrong.
4. Released in the mid to late 90s I think.

Any help? Please. No rewards forthcoming, but you will have my gratitude for getting this out of my head.

Nope, all wrong so far. I know that. But I appreciate the effort.

I recall it would have been, generally speaking, techno. Maybe big beat, maybe detroit, can't truly remember. And it was an album of remixes or greatest hits.

And it's not LCD Soundsystem. Hearing that name is actually what started all of this, because I thought to myself "havne't they been around for a long time? I swear I have one of their albmes; the one with the lion on the cover."
