I'm curious what you guys think the average demographics on SF are?

The ages seem to vary quite a bit but what about race, wealth, education, sexual orientation etc.?

Thoughts?

This has been computed already, and if you average everyone on teh StyleForvm, you get this:

I think you should use the forum search tool. This has been done many, many times before. The results are always the same. Average age is about 27, average income about 325k, race equal between white and Native American, sexual orientation is yellow fever, and education varies between one and two Ph.D.s.

Yeah this is pathetic. I was hoping for at least 500k and a more narrowly defined sexual orientation.

325K...that's about 300 more K than I make. If I weren't here the average would be much higher.

This may be average among the smalltimers hereabouts. Some of us set the curve though.

It's OK, I bring you average up, both the income and the number of women j'd off in front of.

Maybe we did need a new threak on this? Seems that incomes have gone up. Also, MS claims to have lost his yellow fever.

Are these numbers weighted based on post-count?

No. The higher post count folks all represent about six sigma from the income mean.

Except Kyle and Conne.

Well .. I don't think the bazillionaire who does nothing but sell his RLPL suit and Hermes ties because he doesn't want to be bothered with cleaning them should have an equal weight as those who spend their days trolling the various other sub-fora.

Really time logged in would be a preferred weighting index, but post-count is a good enough proxy.

I'm sure you have a point, and probably an insult, in there somewhere but it is eluding me.
