Procuring sex for money is illegal in the UK, France, Wales, Denmark, etc....any country in Europe except Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Hungary, Russia, and Greece. Also illegal in Brazil, Israel, and many parts of Australia.

But these are all Xtian theocracies like the US, right?

Actually no, I got that information from a site that supports the rights of prostitutes, so obviously they would know where it is legal, illegal or simply not enforced ala nobody really gives a **** and you won't get arrested no matter what the laws are. So my post still stands. Here, knock yourself out and get informed:

By this standard, pot is legal in most of the United States and prostituion in a good part of it. See, I can move the goal posts just as well as you can.

where does this chip on your shoulder come from? you already made an ass of yourself regarding stem cell research, legislative process, etc... i'd think the bravado would be toned down a bit. then again, i think you might be a troll. even if you had anything resembling a decent point you would drive people away via the horror of your personality. for example, i actually support gay rights and marriage but feel compelled to argue with you, because people like you are just as damaging as any of the "religious nuts" you're crying about.

No, your post falls. Why? You originally stated they were "legal/decriminalized." Those are very specific terms and are not statement equivalents of "not enforced." You have changed your original position, which was:

As you are obviously not well versed in conversational logic, I will tell you this is an ad hoc rescue.

I answered this a page or so back:

Nah, it's obvious that this forum while great on issues of style - is full of the kinds of people that support the types of issues and general conservative attitude that I do not support.

I mean, this thread is called Does Anyone like Bill Maher with the notion of how COULD anyone like Bill Maher and the responses were not in his favor. That's like me going on a really liberal minded website and posting this question: Does Anyone Like Bill O'Reilly or Glenn Beck?

So yes, I am fighting a no win situation here and if this site that wasn't so conservatively filled - I might have some radically open minded people agreeing with me.

My cousin's late grandmother, a horrible troll of a woman, used to read stuff like The Weekly World News. She swore that everything in it was true because, as she said, "They wouldn't put it in the newspaper if it wasn't true." If she had had internet access, I'm sure she would have had the same train of thought regarding stuff that gets posted online.

When you start spewing liberal bullshit, and get called on it, this is always the best answer to give. If your cranium was not inserted so deeply into your rectum, you might actually realize most of the people dissecting your inability to clearly present a factual point of view might agree with many of your positions. For instance, I am a long time and vocal supporter of both decriminalizing all drugs and prostitution. This does not mean I will agree when you post inaccurate facts on the topic or attempt to use logical fallacy to sustain your point on them.

Btw, shame about your wife being religious.

Look if I agreed with someone's opinion and knew what he was trying to say even if the person wasn't conveying it very well - I would still say to the person: I know what you mean and I feel the same way.

If you thought pot and prostitution should be legalized - you would have said so. If you think religion has no place in government, you would have said so. If we were like minded in terms of an overall highly liberal opinion, you would have said so.

Your problem with me is based completely on the fact that you disagree with my position right from the get go.
