Does anyone like Bill Maher? - Page 3

I like his points, but he is smug, and even worse, I just cant stand looking at his face.

I still find his show to be better than Olbermann, Limbaugh, Hannity,...

I will not divulge my personal feelings for the man, however, we have 3 pages of discussion of Bill Maher without discussing his hideous, ill-cut, and ill fitting suits?

No kidding, pinstripes w/o a tie, wtf. Motherfucker tries too hard to look like Fenster from Usual Suspects.

His real competitor is Stewart, who is a million times smarter, funnier, and more appealing.

I think he means to be something in between, which makes Maher's show a little awkward to watch and limited in terms of appeal.

He's horrible as a standup, but I do find his Real Time show entertaining.

I love Bill. I think he is one of the smartest, most well informed talking heads on tv (or at the very least he preps like a mofo).

Is he funny? Hmm... maybe not in the traditional sense of the word, but I think PI is a great show that mixes current events and humor in the best way possible.

I enjoy the show the odd times I catch it typically in hotel rooms on team trips. It's not necessarily for him but it seems interesting and somewhat entertaining. I can't believe he calls himself a libertarian though - that makes no sense.

There was one episode I wanted to watch because the guest line up sounded really good but for the life of me can't remember

Don't like Maher, but do like many if not most of his points. Agree with his views on religion.

Having said that, he is irrational and outrightly dangerous when talking about medicine.

His views on religion turn me off. Look, no one really knows if God exists or not, so please drop the fucking smug attitude that you do know Bill.

Sometimes he gets called out on his own show by a guest and I enjoy those moments because he's clearly too full of himself.

For the most part I do like him when he sticks to politics. But he did an episode of Real Time once where he interviewed actors and he was rimming them and it was gross and lame.

On a related note, doesn't this Blobfish (yes, real name for it) look just like him?

He seemed to pitch this type of belief in the beginning of Religulous, but he deviates from it whenever he gets the chance to insult others' beliefs. Technically, he's right. Using the same logic, nobody really knows if flying spaghetti monsters exist, but since there's a fundamental lack of evidence that testifies to their existence, it doesn't make much sense to just say 'well they could exist', let alone dedicate your entire life to a belief in their existence.

i think his show on HBO is great,but his stand up is horrible (weird)
kinda like when stand up comedians are great but thensuck ass in movies,im looking at you chris rock.
