Hahaha yeah I have, but while I can dream up weird characters I've never been able to figure out a plot that I actually liked. Maybe I just need more interesting things to happen to me.

And on the OP, it could be fun to wallow a bit, I'm not even kidding. But within a few days you'll see other pretty, interesting women in your life and you'll be kind of glad you "missed out". Crude as it sounds, just move on to crushing on (and eventually crushing) new girls.

You weren't in love with her in the first place. You were in love with the idea of her, and the idea of being with her. There's a huge difference between this idealized notion and the reality of an actual relationship complete with shortcomings and disappointments. Thoughts of "what could be" always seem better than how things are. It helps to realize that "what could be" is entirely fiction.
