Examining it closely tends to help. Most of the time you'll find that it's not love. An unrequited crush is much easier to deal with when you aren't convincing yourself that you're in love.

Unrequited or not, I find that I dont get over someone until I find someone new. Start chatting with a new lady and you'll forget all about this one.

The best way to get over unrequited love is to (in this order): - alienate your friends - lock yourself indoors - adopt an irregular sleeping schedule - keep thinking about her Alcohol is optional.
