I was looking at the bookster cloth page trying to find something similar to the cloth on the coat. Nothing too close, the best I could find is a brownish or a grey thornproof (its lightweight though)

I have a brother in Denver, may have to make a trip out there to see this tailor you speak of him.

Saw the 1st episode of the first season a few days ago and I loved it. Great choice on the actors,  both of them did a superb job with the characters.
