The little rat has been reading my post history and is onto me. Today it seduced my girlfriend into loving it and now she doesn't want to give it up.

Get a bombay cat.

Keep it inside for 2-3 weeks. Once it is happy you can start to let it out more and more. Our cat comes home every other day or so and is yet to be killed. Touch wood.

The cat is bipolar and driving us crazy. I get this feeling in my gut whenever I hear that little bell come closer. Even my girlfriend doesn't like it now. We reached an agreement to get rid of it. I've read that giving it away on Craig's List is a risky move. There are animal dealers and hungry immigrants who will poach "free to good home" ads. So far searching for a no-kill shelter in OC California has been difficult, and when I do track one down, they usually only take in local animals. I'm thinking about calling up the local government ran shelter, giving the cat to them, and offer to pick the cat up if it isn't adopted by its kill date, however that's decided. I really don't even know if they would accept such a deal.
