Squatting while drunk

Guys, I had 4 beers in the last hour and am going to do heavy squatting in the gym tonight. Is this a great idea? Or not a great idea? Going in 16 minutes. Will report back hopefully. Edit: Not drunk, just tipsy, so don't call me a pussy!!!

I think you will be fine. My hypothesis is that maybe since you are a little tipsy but not to drunk, it will bring out your secret retard strength and you will put up more weight than ever before. Thank you for testing my hypothesis, though I will need some feedback so I can analyze the data and draw a conclusion. Trying to get my scientific method-ness on.

I think this is a troll thread, but I'll post here anyway: you won't have much strength. Alcohol inhibits normal metabolic pathways, limiting strength and endurance during activities that require a lot of ATP. And it depresses the nervous system too, which is kinda important for lifting things.

Perfect timing. Today I spent the day getting hammered, climbing a bit... passing out in the bed of my truck and trying to climb some more. I was weak as fuck. Good luck with your squats.

I can usually put about 30 extra pounds on my deadlift when im drunk. It helps if its a drunken rage though, if your sad drunk I dont see it going well.

Collapsed on last set at number 2 of usual 5. Definitely weaker!!! In Er now.

How long have you been deadlifting? I didn't know you lifted at all...

Been deadlifting for about a month, doing 200lb now. I've been lifting properly since about march though, but only upper body really.
