Costume party advice

god I hate these.....

OK, good friend's birthday...I'm kind of helping arrange it with her boyfriend...no idea what to wear.

Theme is "children's storybooks"

Personally I want to show up with a dead deer and be the guy that killed Bambi, but I am not sure that will go over too well.

Ideas wanted....if at all possible, I would like to not look like a jackass.

paul bunyan?
big bad wolf?

oh wait...i just googled and found the best, most masculine, most fuck-you-if-you-don't-like-it one:

everyone loves geppetto!

If you got the legs for it .. Peter Pan / Robin Hood .. no one wants to see a chunky guy in green tights .. or do they?

You should wear the emperor's new clothes. Edit: Looks like I'm too late. I think bbaquiran had the idea first.

Whenever there is a costume party, I wear my Prince Charlie. I know you guys love to talk about "the skirt," but you put on a Prince Charlie kit and woman want you. I don't suppose Viet Nam has a kilt rental shop though.
