Best Savings?When is the time?

I know that there is a sales thread but i was wondering what time would i expect to find the most discounts in general at retailers at outlets or even at stores like old navy? and what are the times for various seasons.

Many mainstream outfits are moving into their autumn season now. You may still be able to find a decent deal but selection is getting thin at this point. JCrew, for example, has their madras shirts marked down to $14 from $70.

Outlets are not always great places. Prices are cheaper but the goods are cheaper quality as well. The items sold at most "outlet" stores were made specifically for the outlet and are not the same as you would find in the normal stores.
