I saw Passion Pit last year. I'd never heard them before I went to the show. I was really impressed. Cool stage set and light show, too.

Missed them a couple weeks ago at a local club. Sounds like I didn't miss much.

Last few shows:

Old 97's = first time seeing them- excellent live show and even played our request. Gotta like that.
Coheed and Cambria = Excellent live show.
Yes = First time seeing them- small outdoor venue. Steve Hackett is still amazing, even at 101 years old. Meanwhile, Chris Squire added 101 pounds.

A little while ago I saw Bright Eyes open for Death Cab for Cutie. I like Bright Eyes but I found Death Cab insufferable

I really like both acts but I have seen Death Cab 3 times and there is a bit of inconsistency with their shows. Bright Eyes would be an amazing opening act, every other opening act I have seen open for Death Cab has completely mailed in their performance, even bands I like (cold war kids comes to mind).

Ive seen U2 more times than you should know. I slept outside MSG for the Vertigo tour so I would be first in on GA. I scored GA seats for all 3 shows, yeah.

You should probably plan for a half day on Wed. as well

There is much hate for U2 here, but I dont give a flying ****. If you are GA, stand more on Edges side (left) if possible. When they do Streets, and you have a decent buzz going, especially the first time you see them live, its pretty close to a religious experience. For me anyway, anytime I see Streets live, its just amazing. Let me know what you think afterwards!

Sadly, not on this tour. You might luck out though. That was the opening song on the last tour and is great no doubt. My favorite song is Acrobat, which sadly, they have never performed live, ever. Just once in a rehearsal in Hershey, PA in 1993 that someone caught a sound clip of. Everytime I am within earshot of Bono, all I do is scream "ACROBAT" lol
