I went with the wife to see The Cure at the Sydney Opera House, they played the first three albums, 17 Seconds a standout. They then did an hour long encore one of the best gigs I have been to in ages, mind you first saw them in 1981 at the Palais Theatre in Melbourne. Long time between drinks but well worth it.

Glad to hear this. I have heard a few horror stories of the Cure in concert.

Last night I watched Thomas Dybdahl at the Bricks and Mortat Music Hall in SF

I just saw Soundgarden a few days ago. A bit underwhelming. The Meat Puppets opened and they were pretty good.

Lollapalooza this weekend! Not as good of a lineup as some previous years but I'm still pumped.

Mostly looking forward to Eminem but I think there are a solid 4-5 acts each day that I want to see.
