I'm going to purchase tickets to both AFL and rugby if I can. I'm open minded and love to watch live sports, so it should be fun either way. Also, if it gets boring, I'm assuming they serve beer

Keep in mind, they may give you the smallest shittiest car they got. We ended up with 5 people packed into a Suzuki Swift.

If your license is in French .. you'll need an English license.

Also, you can definitely do the Great Ocean Road in one day. A long day granted, but one day none-the-less. We did it, in one day while taking in 3-4 hikes, and seeing most of the major land marks

Yeah I figured Budget and Hertz wouldn't allow me to rent anything... I mean they don't here so I doubt they would there. I'm looking into to getting an English/International license like mentioned above because that road trip sounds really nice.

if you are all doof doof and enjoy shitty theme parks then go Surfer's Paradise. If not, catch a plane at the domestic airport and fly to anywhere else in Australia
