If you need a pair of disposable boots to go through the local dump to try to find your girlfriend's engagement ring that you accidentally threw away then those boots are perfect.

Glued sole. Imported, likely made by slave labour. Garbage quality leather. Synthetic insole. Defects and poor construction visible on the model. That's without seeing them in person.

Thank you. You sir have made the FIRST legitimately helpful post regarding my questions of cost-to-quality ratio questions. Atleast NOW when I go shoe shopping I have an idea of just wtf to look out for.

In every other thread users go wild saying omg fit, slim fit, SLIMMEST FIT, so flattering...lol the fit's to die for.

But thank you now I know what I should be looking out for.

One thing when you say synthetic insole, what exactly do you mean like a dr scholls gel insole or what are we talking about here? Also, YOU CAN see the defects on the model FROM THAT PICTURE?

I mean non-leather. When it's described as "cushioned mid-sole" and "broken in look and feel" that means a foam or cloth insole, which will wear differently from leather.

Also, YOU CAN see the defects on the model FROM THAT PICTURE?

This just looks like sloppy construction, see how the leather binds up?

If that's the best they have for the model then I shudder to think what the rest of the stock look like.

What kind of shoe are you looking for and for what purpose? What about these shoes do you like?

They look okay. The rivet is eye-catching but for $60 I'd rather search eBay or thrift.

I know seriously they don't even look like they've been put together properly.

Spend the extra $30 on Clarks. Clarks are nothing special but at least they are classic and decently constructed.
