The Avengers (05.04.2012) - Page 7

It's pretty identical to the poster a few posts up but I find it weird that Capt. America and Hawkeyes fits are accurate in the posted but Thors isn't (he had no sleeves in the trailer). Also, I really hope IronMan isn't using his Mark IV (which looks like what he is wearing in the poster) in the Avengers film.

NVM, looks like he'll be wearing Mark VII.

Lucky, I really wish I could attend. Tickets sold out so quick and one-day tickets were going for $300 on ebay.

Who is their enemy?
I still can't imagine a foe powerful enough to get all this superheroes in trouble....

Loki is what most people are thinking. Its possible that there is more than one villain. However the thought is, is that Loki may now possess some knowledge from going through a wormhole, and maybe even steal the power source that Sam Jackson shows that doctor at the end of the Thor credits - The same power source that Red Skull found, and then eventually found by stark I believe...

The Avengers movie most likely is going to tie up the power source with Loki most likely stealing it and using it in some fashion.

Rumor is Loki brings the Skrulls to earth and it's an invasion.

Aliens who spend 3/4 the movie looking like normal people. They would only need to do CG for the times they reveal what they look like. Doesn't seem that challenging to me. I'm sure the end would have an epic battle with skrull spacecraft, but they should have the budget for that.

No challenging in the sense that will people want to see a storyline like that. I mean me personally, I would love to see that. However, I can already tell that my friends who don't read comics will say wtf to the skrulls.

I see what you are saying, but all they really need to be are shape-shifting aliens who invade earth. Seems an easy sell to the mainstream.

Leave out the Super Skrull and keep it simple.
